Police have arrested a man in an allegedly stolen 4WD at the front of Star News Group’s office in Army Road, Pakenham.

After being followed by Victoria Police’s Air Wing, the silver Pathfinder was penned by three police SUVs and a Highway Patrol BMW in the media group’s car park about 5.30pm on 12 February.

A 40-year-old man was cuffed and arrested by Cardinia CIU detectives at the scene. He was taken away for questioning.

Police seized an imitation revolver, a quantity of suspected methamphetamine as well as cash from the vehicle.

Sergeant Andrew Henneken, of Emerald police, said the man was wanted in relation to an incident in Warragul earlier in the day.
