Residents affected by the Bunyip Complex Fires in March last year are invited to attend an informative and inspiring session on post-disaster recovery with renowned clinical psychologist Dr Rob Gordon.

Following the very successful event last year Dr Gordon is returning to Bunyip Hall from 7pm to 9pm on Thursday 20 February.

Working in the field of disaster recovery for more than 30 years, Dr Gordon has assisted people after the Port Arthur shooting, the Bali bombings, Black Saturday, the Christchurch earthquake and other events throughout Australia and New Zealand.

His first-hand experience has helped many people understand their reactions to trauma and grief and the stages of recovery.

All residents in the bushfire area are welcome at this free event and bookings not necessary. Light refreshments will be provided.
