Firefighters needed almost two hours to bring a fierce shed fire under control.
A CFA spokesperson confirmed emergency services responded to reports of a hay shed fire on McDonald Road in Labertouche just after 12.30am on Monday morning, 6 April.
Nine CFA vehicles from Bunyip, Longwarry, Drouin, Drouin West and Nilma North were all required to battle the blaze.
The shed was fully involved and it’s understood about $50,000 worth of hay was destroyed as a result of the fire.
It’s understood the fire was brought under control just before 2am.
Victoria Police were notified of the incident and were on scene.
