A Pakenham driver was intercepted by police after performing a burnout in the middle of the road when leaving a local shopping centre on Thursday 4 June.
The 34-year-old man told police he was being “egged on” by onlookers.
His vehicle was impounded for 30 days and he will attend the Magistrates Court.
