A bedroom of a Beaconsfield home suffered severe damage during a blaze on Friday 25 September.
The Country Fire Authority (CFA) were called to reports of a fire on Amelia Close about 5.22am.
Three CFA units from Beaconsfield and Berwick attended the scene, along with firefighters from Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV).
Firefighters deemed the blaze as under control about 15 minutes later at 5.37am.
They left the property just before 6.30am and the scene was handed to Victoria Police for investigation.
Police have been contacted for comment.
