The Bushfire Recovery Centre is going mobile!

From Friday 20 November the centre, which was set up in the wake of the Bunyip Complex Bushfires in March 2020 by local volunteers, will hit the road each week in a series of pop-up sessions.

The first pop-up session will be held at the Cannibal Creek Reserve from 10am-2pm.

To engage with the community the centre will be moved each week and will be visiting several different locations leading up to Christmas.

The Recovery Team hopes to reconnect with residents and provide up-to-date recovery information and advice.

The pop-up sessions are also an opportunity for business owners and farmers to engage with Cardinia Council’s economic development officer, Daryl, to discuss your business needs.

The current pop-up schedule is as follows:

Friday 20 November, 10am-2pm – Cannibal Creek Reserve

Friday 27 November, 10am-2pm – Tynong North Hall

Friday 4 December, 10am-2pm – Sherwood Park

Friday 11 December, 10am-2pm – Mill Valley Ranch

Friday 18 December, 10am-2pm – Tonimbuk Hall

Visitors must wear face masks unless they have a lawful exemption, and social distancing restrictions apply.
