Detectives from the Cardinia Crime Investigation Unit are appealing to the public for information in regards to a burglary in Officer last month.
The burglary occurred in broad daylight, in Lecky Road, Officer on Wednesday 21 April.
A man was disturbed by the homeowner at about 3.30pm and fled the property in a silver Ford bearing false registration plates EOD608.
Investigators have released an image of the man in question, in the hopes that the public may be able to help identify him.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 20-35 years of age and had short dark hair and was unshaven.
He was wearing a black hooded jumper with white writing on the back and dark coloured pants.
