Woman airlifted after Pakenham Upper crash

A woman was airlifted to hospital following a car accident in Pakenham Upper on Thursday morning.

Emergency services were called to the crash on Pakenham Road, near the Pakenham Upper Recreation Reserve, just before 9am on Thursday 28 October.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson confirmed that a woman had been treated by paramedics at the scene and later flown to hospital.

“Paramedics were called to a report of a collision in Pakenham Upper just before 9am this morning,” the spokesperson said.

“A woman believed to be in her 70s suffered a chest injury and was flown by air ambulance to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition.”

The woman was airlifted to hospital at about 10.30am and it appears no one else was injured in the crash.

Police and CFA crews also attended the accident, assisting with traffic management and working to clear the scene.
