Circus Royale – Narre Warren From June 23 to July 17, the famous circus show can be experienced at Westfield Fountain Gate Shopping Centre. With acrobats and high wire walkers, and a heart-stopping performance of motorbike stunt riders in the Globe of Death, at high speeds of up to 80km and hour, this 90 minute performance will surely keep you entertained and on the edge of your seat. Light up Gembrook

The Gembrook community is invited to join with the Gembrook Kindergarten community in a lantern parade, commencing at the Gembrook Skate Park and proceeding along the Main Street pathway to the Gembrook Kindergarten carpark for the winter solstice. Community members are welcome and encouraged to join in and all creative hand held lantern and lighting ideas welcomed. A sausage sizzle and light refreshments will be available at the kindergarten at the conclusion of the parade. We anticipate the weather will be quite cold and are planning to go ahead with wet weather plans in place, including “Drive-By Bangers” at Gembrook Pre-School if necessary.

Ignite Youth Festival

Featuring such performers as The Valiants, Kitty Rae, Replacement Driver, Olivia Mae, and Rogerson, the

2022 youth festival is a fun activity for youths, with music, food, and more.

Creature

Creature is a 2D digital installation about the environment and our relationship with it. It presents a unique immersive and interactive experience of the Australian bush and is a wondrous play space for both young and old audiences to educate and rediscover their natural surroundings.

Berwick Farmers Market

The Farmers Market at The Old Cheese Factory is held every second Saturday of the month. Come by for fresh, wholesome, and nutritious food and produce direct from the grower. There is farm fresh and organic seasonal fruit, vegetables, herbs and spices, breads, honey, olives, cheese, jams, condiments, and preserves, as well as a variety of animal products, such as eggs and free range lamb. Bring your own bags and trolleys. Run by the Berwick District Wood Workers Club to raise funds for the local community, with all proceeds going to their community programs.

Rainbow book club

Kelly Wilson’s Book Launch

Trivia Night

A trivia night is being held by the Nephrotic Syndrome Foundation of Australia on Saturday 9 July at the Hills Bub in Emerald. Come and eat, drink, tease your brain and go in the running to win a holiday. The cost is $10 per person for tables of up to 10 people.

Rockabilly, Retro and Rock ‘n’ Roll, are rockin’ into the Pine Grove Hotel for an afternoon of ’50s and ’60s retro fashion, live music, dancing, delicious food and more. This event highlights and celebrates the ’50s and ’60s era and will relive the fun and the best of the era’s fashion, cars and music. All profits made from this fundraiser event will be used to hold a celebration for the Centennial of the Sacred Heart Church in Gembrook, on November 13.
