Q and A with Cardinia Men’s Shed member Henry Berry…
How long have you been involved in the Cardinia Men’s Shed? The Cardinia Men’s Shed first started in 2007, by Dennis Jones at outlook. I was one among the first to join. Later we moved to the shed
we build behind Living and Learning Centre in Pakenham. But we have already out grown it and we need help from the council to be able to extend.
What’s something you love about the men’s shed? Helping and caring for others and the comradeship.
What is something people don’t know about you? I am out going and down to earth, friendly. I do not think I have any secrets.
What was your most memorable moment? When my late wife gave birth to our second and third children, because we lost our first born.
What would your last meal be? I have no Favourite food, will eat just about anything.
What event, past, present, or future, would you like to witness? Any event that ends with good news for all.
Favourite book? Any book about history.
Which six dinner guests would you invite to a dinner party? Six of the funniest comedians.
What has been your most embarrassing moment? I am not a shy person but I have a great sense of humour so I cannot recall ever being embarrassed.
What are your hobbies? Stamp and coin collecting. Aquarium fish keeping and singing.
