Reptile Encounters at The Heritage Monday 16 Jan, 11am and 1pm: Meet the Rainbow Serpent Learn about native animals and their significance in the deep culture of the traditional custodians of our land. Meet sugar gliders, red-tail black cockatoos, turtles, goannas, saltwater crocodiles and even the majestic rainbow serpent in this exhilarating and eye-opening show. Tuesday 17 Jan, 11am and 1pm: Feathers, Fur & Scales Learn the difference between feathered, furry and scaly creatures in this hands-on display of animal life. Get an up-close look at a hand-raised marsupial, rainforest parrot, freshwater turtle, shingleback lizard, monitor lizard, pythons and even a crocodile!

Lakeside Market Pakenham

The market flows from outside the Cardinia Cultural Centre, on the manicured lawns, down to the stunning Lakeside Amphitheatre on the lake. The market feature’s a choice selection of gourmet food and drink trucks, live music and quality local makers stalls including, fashion, homewares, art, pet products, natural skincare, baked goods, plants and lots more and is dog friendly.

We have one ‘garage sale site’ and if occupied on the day you visit, who knows what bargain you may find! A jumping castle, farm animals or similar activities for young children are on site at most markets.

Woolworths Community Cricket Blast Program

Cricket Victoria is holding a FREE school holiday Cricket Blast program. Participants will enjoy a full day of cricket activities, cricket inflatables and other fun activities throughout the day. Anyone with a keen interest in cricket or having fun will enjoy this day out!

Kids’ art workshop

Our Kids’ Art Workshops are designed to give children up to the age of 5, the opportunity to be creative in a supportive and facilitated environment. The early childhood phase is a critical time for growth and skill development. These workshops will help to build motor skills, encourage creative play, and strengthen the bond between child and caregiver.

Kids’ Art Workshops run from 10am-12pm every Tuesday from 17 January to 28 March 2023 in the Waterfront Room at the Cardinia Cultural Centre.
