Tell us a fun fact about yourself!

So, I just called my younger sister and my lifelong best friend and asked for their help on this. They both said, “hmmm, nope, can’t think of one”. This can’t be a good sign!

What do you love about your electorate?

The Eastern Victoria Region is by far the most beautiful region in Australia. We have the best of nature from beaches to mountains. We produce incredible food, produce and businesses but the best thing of all is the people.

What would your last meal be?

Spaghetti bolognaise (obviously not cooked by me)

What is your most memorable moment?

Being sworn into Parliament and delivering my maiden speech. It was an incredibly special day. I think serving the people of the Eastern Victoria Region in Parliament will forever be the greatest honour of my life.

What event past or present would you like to witness?

I would go back in time to the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and witness Martin Luther King Jr’s ‘I have a dream’ speech.

Which three guests, dead or alive, would you invite to dinner?

Corrie Ten Boom, Martin Luther King Jr and John Howard.

What are you currently listening to, watching or reading?

I am listening to the audiobook Wild Swans, and I am reading A Heart for Freedom.

If you had to compete on MasterChef, what dish would you cook?

There is absolutely no way that someone with my culinary skills would make it on MasterChef. Would they be happy with canned baked beans on toast?

Where is your dream holiday destination?

Somewhere with sun, pasta, wine, and a pool. Perhaps an Italian villa?

What were you like as a kid?

I asked my friend and sister this one too. Apparently, I was “boisterous”, “a complete tomboy” and “highly accident-prone” and then they topped it off with “you were the ‘if only she would apply herself’ type”. I then called Mum and her report was much more uplifting with “fun, generous and a people person”. Thank God for mums!

What was your first job?

My first job was at McDonalds in Sale. I was a crew member and party host. I absolutely loved it (and remember, if you have time to lean, you have time to clean).

What are the three most used apps on your phone?

Outlook, News Apps and Duolingo.

What’s one question that you have always wanted answered?

Why anyone would ever vote Labor!
