Misadventures make a difference

Anna Reinets's one woman show has won major awards.

A ONE woman show is coming to Pakenham later this month to spread the word about cultural diversity.
Postcards from Nanna, performed by singer and composer Andrea Reinets, is a story with songs and dancing, but also messages about discovering people who are “not like us” and learning to love the ways that we’re all different.
The Australian Writers Guild Best Script for Young People, Centenary Federation Medal award winning show tells of Nanna setting out on her grand adventure around the country in Betty the Bubble Caravan, taking Ruby Big Dog and Pauline the Parrot along for the ride.
But the fur and feathers fly when she discovers how different they all are as they get caught up in a series of musical misadventures.
The free show is on its third round of public libraries across the state.
The show plays at the Pakenham Library on 29 September at 2.30pm.
