IT WAS all fun and games at Harkaway Primary School last week when the grade five and six students took charge for the day.
The primary school’s Harkaway Show was back this year and it was bigger and better than ever.
Teacher Chris Adams said a lot of planning went into the day that was mainly run by the grade five and six year levels but involved the entire school.
“The middle school ran a Devonshire tea and the juniors classes had a jars stall,” he said.
“It’s mainly run by the grade five and sixers.”
The entire school community turned out for the day filled with stalls and plenty of excitement.
“It’s one of the school’s biggest events,” Mr Adams said.
“Everyone comes along.”
