Henry Danger
Nickelodeon
Wednesdays, 7.25pm

THE latest offering from Nickelodeon, Henry Danger, is in two words, really funny.
The show is about a superhero called Captain Man (played by Cooper Barnes) – well, not really him but his 13-year-old sidekick Kid Danger (Jace Norman).
Captain Man became indestructible when he was just a boy after many experiments by his mad scientist father and he realised he needed a sidekick.
Enter Henry who is just looking for a part-time job and stumbles upon a weird shop and eventually the lair of Captain Man. And while superman changes in a phone booth Captain Man blows bubblegum bubbles and “Bam!“ he’s suddenly in his costume.
Henry has a really annoying sister who talks and talks about everything. She’s so verbose that Henry actually stunned her to shut her up for a moment. I’d love to be able to do that with my sister.
Henry also hangs out with another girl Charlotte who doesn’t know at first about Henry’s job but eventually helps him with his secret identity.
It is so funny and lots of fun to watch.
Although it’s from the creators of Sam and Cat, iCarly, Victorious and Drake and Josh, it’s quite different to any of the other shows on Nickelodeon. Henry doesn’t have any superpowers – he’s just an ordinary boy with a crazy job that he can’t tell anyone about.
One day he’ll be a great superhero – hopefully.
