Whispers
Whispers is an exhibition of works by SECAN Artists which will be displayed at Gate 6 Gallery. During the year-long Whispers project, images were passed from artist to artist, each one drawing from the preceding artist’s work before passing along to the next artist.
- Official launch from 6pm-8pm on Friday 8 December. Exhibition running until Sunday 10 December, 11am-5pm each day. Gate 6 Cardinia Street, Berwick.
Pakenham Carols by Candlelight
Pack a picnic and head down to Toomuc Reserve for a festive sing-a-long not to be missed! Gates open at 6pm with pre-carols entertainment by local primary schools starting at 7pm. The official program begins at 8.30pm with the Cardinia Civic Concert Band and their 30-piece ensemble. To top the night off there will be a fireworks display at about 10pm. Santa may even make a guest appearance! Auslan interpreters in attendance. This is an alcohol and smoke free event. Pets are not permitted. Assistance dogs accepted.

Christmas trees
Friends of Ermera are selling fresh Christmas trees in three sizes at Akoonah Park Sunday market. All proceeds support education and training programs in the Ermera district of Timor Leste.
Trees are also able to be ordered from friends.of.ermera.president@gmail.com or 0418 557 988. Delivery available in City of Casey for $5.
- The trees are on sale at Akoonah Park market, Cardinia Street, Berwick on Sundays, 10 and 17 December, 8am-1.30pm. Trees range from 7 foot ($70), 6 foot ($60) and 5 foot ($50).
