Time for tennis

THE Berwick Tennis Club is having a club open day on Sunday 31 January.
The free day aims to encourage people to come and try tennis and discover the various programs, benefits and tennis options at the club.
The club’s head coach Allison Miller and coaches Lois Plowman, Maria Bailey and Adrian Bol will be running several tennis coaching activities and games on the day for people aged from three years to adults.
The open day, supported by Momentum Energy and Tennis Victoria, runs from 10am to 1pm.
Tennis Victoria’s inclusive programs co-ordinator Tim Hatzi said club open days were a wonderful vehicle for tennis clubs to promote their programs and services to the community.
“Tennis is a great way for people of all ages and abilities to participate in a fun, friendly and healthy environment,” he said.
The Berwick Tennis Club, located at Arch Brown Reserve along Buchanan Road in Berwick, provides coaching programs, competitions and social play for all members.
