TWENTY extra police cars will be patrolling the Cardinia Shire this holiday season in a concentrated effort to reduce the local road toll.
Operation Bypass, focusing on the Pakenham Bypass and surrounding roads, started on Sunday night.
Inspector Wayne Viney said police would be patrolling the roads constantly.
