A Maryknoll rock artists has brought her popular MND painted stones to the MCG for the 2022 Big Freeze event.
Sally Cunningham has painted rocks, including MND themed ones, during the years of Covid-19 lockdowns as a way to bring joy to her local community.
This year with the return of the Big Freeze event in person at the MCG on Monday 13 June, Sally was able to hide 13 rocks around the ground for patrons to discover.
Sally has volunteered at the MCG for the Big Freeze event for many years
“We’ve been involved in the fight for MND since it started,“ Sally said.
“My cousin Pat Cunningham was a founding member of Fight MND along with Neale Daniher.
“It’s a different way to spread the message.“
