A MAN in his twenties has been freed from a truck after being trapped for more than an hour following an accident in Mt Burnett this morning.
The man, who sustained serious leg injuries, was taken to the Dandenong Hospital in a stable condition.
The truck hit a tree on Pakenham Road.
An ambulance spokesperson said a second man was able to get out of the truck after paramedics were called to the incident at 8.15am, but did not sustain serious injury.
An SES spokesperson said a hydraulic ram was used to free the man.
“The ram was used to push the dashboard from the man’s legs,” Shayne Honey said.
