A LOCAL campaigner is urging Bunyip, Garfield and Tonimbuk residents to rally together to fight a proposed quarry on local land.
At 8pm on Wednesday 14 October, residents are urged to come to Bunyip Hall to learn about the impacts the proposed Sanders Road quarry may have on the local area.
Campaigner and former Cardinia Shire Council mayor Bill Pearson said the public meeting, which will discuss the impacts the proposed quarry may have on local drinking water, air quality and local flora and fauna, will be open for anyone to attend.
The impact of increased heavy traffic in the area will also be discussed at the meeting.
