Pakenham Police are investigating a theft that occurred in Beaconsfield on 10 February.
Police allege that at about 5:10pm an unknown man entered a Princes Highway store, picked up a number of items and left without paying.
It is believed he then got into a white 4WD that was missing a rear number plate and drove away.
