Mamma Mia, here we go again!

It’s recognised as one of the world’s most popular Broadway musicals and the story of Donna and her daughter Sophie is on its way out to the south-east, taking to the stage at the Cardinia Cultural Centre.

Cardinia Performing Arts Company (CPAC) said they were “delighted” to be bringing the upbeat show to the stage, which will feature a “plethora” of ABBA’s greatest hits, suited to the whole family.

The group have assembled an award-winning production team for what they are describing as one of their biggest productions to date.

The show will be directed by Lee Geraghty with Ben Heels returning as musical director.

Scott Hili will also return to cover costume design but he’ll also put on his jazz shoes to choreograph his first show in a decade.

The internationally renowned lighting designer Jason Bovaird is set to bring his creativity and magic to the stage.

Some shows have already sold out, so those wanting to grab a ticket or two are encouraged to get in early.

Book online via the Cardinia Cultural Centre website or call the box office on 1300 887 624.

Mamma Mia opens Saturday 22 February and will run to Friday 6 March at the Start theatre, Cardinia Cultural Centre.
