Pumpup for points- Beaconsfield goal-keeper Ebony Matthews flips a pass over ROC opponent Emma

WITH a top spot on the ladder on the line, the Beacy girls were pumped up to get the points and reclaim top position.
With Kim Kennedy returning from injury and Abbie Sheers up from the juniors, the Beacy girls had depth that was always going to cause ROC some trouble.
All eight players played hard solid netball and kept up a relentless pace for the entire match. Jacinta Goldsack was on fire in GA and got a lot of the play early in the game.
Kylie Clark played one of her best games for the year in WD making it hard for the ROC attacking players to find their goalers. Best on court: Jacinta Goldsack.

It was a wet day in Officer which saw the Beacy girls get off to a slow start.
However, the girls played a short and simple game helping them to take the lead.
The centre court worked hard, backing each other up and precise passes into the ring allowed Rachel and Carly to score for the team. The way the ball moved down the court showed how well all girls worked together. Best on court: Shelley Ziesler.

After a well rested break and the whole team finally back together for only the second game this season, the girls started their first half a bit slow against ROC making a few basic errors and seemed to be a little out of sorts. The second half saw a new team and felt like a new game, the girls shutting ROC down ending with a dominating win, 6-66.

This week the girls had some amazing court play and keep showing some promising signs. The scoreboard has little to do with what the girls actually achieve week to week.
Defenders let a few slip past but rebounded the ball and brought it down the court nicely. The centre court took a few great intercepts but could not convert them.
The goalers worked tirelessly but found it hard to get the ball with the tight ROC defence. BOC: Rachel Williams taking interception after interception and driving it into the attack end.
