Look and learn day

REVEGETATION of local properties is vital to ensure the biodiversity of the area.
Come along to what will an exciting and informative day in Maryknoll on 10 July, where local experts from Landcare, Melbourne Water and Deakin University will present.
A discussion will cover such topics as regeneration and revegetation, management and biodiversity, revegetation planning and site preparation, the importance of revegetating and managing remnant bush along your creek frontage, birds and the positive benefits of revegetation.
Hands on planting demonstrations will also ensure you learn the right way to ensure planting of native vegetation survives and thrives on your property – large or small. Lunch is provided and informative handouts will be available. This exciting and informative event is aimed at achieving healthy waterways and is made possible with Melbourne Water funding and professional support.
