MORE than 60,000 concrete sleepers are being placed on the tracks of the Pakenham railway line.
Gembrook MP Tammy Lobato said the new concrete sleepers will replace worn timber sleepers on the line between Dandenong and Pakenham stations, from now until October.
The replacement works from Dandenong to Pakenham will take place at night, however there may be some disruptions for passengers. Visit metlinkmelbourne.com.au or call Metlink on 131-638.
