WARM congratulations are due, once again to the Station Street Pakenham Opportunity Shop for the support it continues to give to so many community groups throughout the Cardinia Shire.
It has again recently supported the Volunteer Driving Service now co-ordinated by Living, Learning Pakenham.
This service was pleased to be able to report to the opportunity shop committee that for the 2009-2010 year 306 clients were assisted with transport, involving 6584 kilometres.
Drivers involved in the service receive basic running costs, but give freely of their time. New drivers are welcome and greatly appreciated, to volunteer please call us on 5941 2389.
As one of several opportunity shops in Pakenham, this small Station St shop deserves special community support.
