Clean win in dirty race

CASEY Cardinia Triathlon Club finished its summer season with the final leg of its Dirty Triathlon series – with line honours going to Russell Kennedy.
Kennedy finished the series with a bang, clocking in at three hours and eight minutes across the course consisting of a one-kilometre swim, a 32-km cross-country bike leg and a 17km run to finish the technical course around Lysterfield Lake.
With the overall victory in tow, Kennedy earned the yellow jersey for the series, with Caitlin Wade claiming the women’s prize and blue club champions jerseys awarded to Dean Jackson and Rachel Hore for the distance event.
