TigerSharks’ season again

Finding good form early in the season, Mitch Pratt smashes out a 55.58 in the men's 100m butterfly.

BACK in the pool for another season, the Casey TigerSharks older swimmers took to Casey RACE on Sunday for the TigerSharks Long Course Qualifying Meet.
Champion trio Matson Lawson, Josh Beaver and Mitch Pratt all starred at the meet, impressing the crowd of swimmer from across the state.
Pratt claimed wins in the 50-metre butterfly (25.71), 100m butterfly (55.58), 100m freestyle (54.46), and 200m butterfly (2.03.86) while finishing second in the 50m backstroke to Lawson.
Lawson, fresh off his selection for the Australian team at the 2014 BHP Billiton Aquatic Super Series, impressed the crowds with wins in the 50m backstroke (26.92), 200m freestyle (2.00.58), 400m freestyle (4.08.32) and finished second
Beaver managed to claim the victory this time around on his long-time training partner, touching in at 2.02.31 to knock off Lawson by nearly a second and also won the 100m backstroke (58.62).
Smashing some cracking times for the women’s team was Jessica Faoro, winning the 400m freestyle, 100m butterfly and the 100m and 200m breaststroke.
Makayla Young also impressive with wins in the 50m freestyle and 200m butterfly.
