Toddler injured in car smash

AN 18-MONTH-OLD child was among three passengers injured in an accident on Gembrook Road on Monday.
A 24-year-old woman was driving the Toyota Sedan along Gembrook Road in Pakenham Upper when she lost control of her vehicle which then struck a power pole.
According to Sergeant Alan Inderwisch at Cardinia Highway Patrol the driver suffered significant injuries and was airlifted to The Alfred Hospital.
The passenger and an 18-month-old child who was retrained in the back seat both received minor injuries and were taken to Dandenong Hospital.
Police are still investgating the accident and ask anyone with more information contact Cardinia Highway Patrol at Pakenham Police Station.
