EMERGENCY crews were called to Pakenham’s main strip today for a suspected gas leak.
Cardinia Group Officer Phil Craig said emergency crews got the call from someone who was concerned about the smell of gas near Pakenham Place.
He said the gas company would seal the leak.
Cars were not permitted to drive down the road but pedestrians were allowed access around the area.
Crews from Nar Nar Goon and Pakenham attended.
