BEACONSFIELD Primary School was thrilled to celebrate six students who shaved their heads to support the Leukaemia Foundation last week, including one Preppie.
Harrison, Elijah, Jack, Matthew and Kyle from Grades 4 and 5 – plus Samuel from Prep – all sacrificed for the snip with support from staff, peers, grandparents and parents.
Andrew from Andrew’s Barber Shop helped parents of the students in the shave, and Tricia White from the school said the entire school community was delighted with the boys.
“We were all very proud of the boys in their own fundraising efforts, which the school aided by holding a free dress day,” the administration officer said.
“All money raised supports the Leukaemia Foundations dedication to the care and cure of patients and families living with leukaemia and related blood disorders.”
