JUDGES were blown away by the standard of the Yakkerboo colouring competition.
This year the Yakkerboo festival committee teamed up with Pakenham Library to hold its annual colouring competition.
With an enhanced prize pool, the number of entries soared to 153 of which eight received a prize.
Damien Anderson was awarded the first prize and his mum said her son was a regular library goer and was very excited to be named as the winner.
Jazmine from Bunyip Primary School was given third prize while Pakenham Consolidated School had five winners.
Damien was awarded with a birthday party worth $200 sponsored by Kemizo in Pakenham.
Cardinia shire councillor Kate Lempriere was the distinguished judge and had a hard task choosing a winner.
The Yakkerboo committee was thrilled to see another successful colouring competition and thanked all of this year’s entrants.
