Boy trapped under special swing

By CASEY NEILL

A PAKENHAM boy, 7, suffered head and facial injuries when he became trapped beneath a wheelchair swing this morning.
CFA and SES crews including the road rescue unit were called to the playground at PB Ronald Reserve in Pakenham shortly before noon.
They cut a pole so they could lift the seat off the child, whose head was wedged under the swing.
Paramedics took him to Casey Hospital with injuries to his head and face.
“They weren’t serious,” an Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said.
Cardinia Shire Council is investigating the incident.
