Numbers don’t add up

WOW, we have a real mathematician running for the Labor Party in Gembrook.
In a recent interview with the Gazette he spoke of the margin that he is behind and compared this to a football game. He said it is like trailing 43 points at half-time and kicking 10 goals 3 in the second half to the leading team who kicks 3 goals 7.
Now let’s see the result:
Half-time scores:
Team one 10 goals 5 behinds = 65.
Team two 3 goals 4 behinds = 22.
Team one leads by 43 points.
End of game adding Labor candidate’s scores for him to win:
Team one 13 goals 12 behinds = 90.
Team two 13 goals 7 behinds = 85.
Still five points behind.
It is like all Labor policy. It is a simple sum that they get financially wrong. Imagine a Labor Government that cannot even get this correct taking over in Treasury.
