CARDINIA BEACONHILLS GOLF
RUSSELL D’arcy (10) won the last monthly medal round of the year at Cardinia Beaconhills on Saturday, returning the best nett score of 66 which also placed him as the B Grade winner in the stroke event.
David Crowe (6) took out the A Grade with a nett score of 69 while Rob Bennett (17) was the C-Grade winner with 67 nett.
The play off for the November medal was also held on Saturday with David Brook winning over Trevor Ball with 79 nett.
The eighth and final round of the Beaconhills Cup was played on Sunday with Shane Wheat (9) winning the par event with plus two.
MIDWEEK
IN TUESDAY’S stableford event 75 players competed and it was Neil Gardner (15) who won the A Grade with 43 points on a count-back while Chris Larwood (23) won the B Grade with 41 points.
David Crowe (7) returned the best score in the Thursday stableford event, winning the A Grade with 43 points. Graham Whitaker (19) was the B Grade winner with 43 points.
It was a festive week all around at the club with the ladies’ Christmas party on Wednesday and the men’s on Thursday.
