Youth gang strike service station

The youths waited at the back of the petrol station.

POLICE are on the hunt for five youths who allegedly stole items from a Lang Lang petrol station last month.
About 6.15pm on Friday 24 December, several underage teens drove to the Shell service station in a 4×4 Nissan Patrol GQ which had false plates, Kooweerup police said.
The station’s CCTV footage captured one youth filling up the vehicle while a further three youths entered the store.
Police allege the youths loitered at the rear of the store, collecting food and confectionary, before running back to the car which took off without paying for either the petrol or food.
Police said the footage also revealed a fifth accomplice who hid behind the vehicle during the incident.
Anyone who recognises the youths are asked to contact Kooweerup police Leading Senior Constable Brad Lee on 5997 1404.
