Horrible Bosses 2 (MA)

IF YOU liked the original – and probably most people did – then steer away from this horror with a ’2’ slapped on the end of it.
Die-hard fans may just be able to eke out a laugh or two, but for most this will be a silent snoozefest.
A very strong and funny, all-star cast wrestles with a dull, lifeless script that exhibits an almost total bankruptcy of ideas.
The plot sees the three stooges from the original film deciding they want to be their own – probably horrible – bosses.
But this American dream proves hard to reach. After inventing a new shower product, they are cheated out of it by their new distribution partner.
The three screw-ups launch a plan to seek retribution and recompense, without any success to speak of … until the obligatory happy ending, of course.
Most of the allegedly humorous hijinks that ensue are desperately unfunny. This will play for about one more week to largely empty cinemas, before it is shame-facedly put down. It will be a mercy killing.
This should guarantee the trilogy is never made. Almost walk-out bad.
