TWO Pakenham men have been charged with armed burglary after they allegedly held pedestrians at knifepoint along the Princes Highway last weekend.
A 26-year-old man and a 17-year-old man are purported to have approached two people as they were walking along the Princes Highway in Pakenham at 2.45am on Saturday 13 December.
Police said the men are reported to have punched one of the victims before pulling out a knife and demanding they hand over any valuables they had.
The men, who then ran back to their car after taking the victims’ mobile phone and wallet, were later found and charged by police.
The 26-year-old man has been bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday 18 December.
