A LUCKY Pakenham family has beaten about 6000 other people at the Melbourne Pool and Spa expo and won a $33,978 nine-seater luxurious spa from Jacuzzi Hot Tubs Pakenham.
The Lockwood family had been looking at cheaper model spas for 12 months and were blown away when they heard the good news.
“We had entered two tickets into the draw and that night we received the call,” Mrs Lockwood said.
The Pakenham family were very lucky when the first name drawn didn’t have contact details.
“We were beside ourselves, we have never won anything before and made a call to Jacuzzi in Pakenham to make sure it wasn’t a hoax,” Mrs Lockwood said.
This will be the first spa for the family of four, with the expected arrival date early April.
“A competition with the chance to win a free spa is run each year at the expo, but this was the first time Jacuzzi Pakenham had put a spa up for grabs.
The top-of-the-range above ground spa includes twin waterfalls, fibre optic lighting, hydro massage therapy, Bluetooth stereo system with sub-woofer, Protouch glass touchpad and remote monitoring from smart phone.
“We are all very excited, already planning the parties and birthdays we can now have around the spa,” Mrs Lockwood said.
