THUMPING her tiny little feet around her Pakenham home, Argo the Mini Lop keeps everyone in check.
Kalinda Franklin’s four-month-old bunny is one of seven pets in her home, and despite being the smallest of them all, she has them all under her rule.
“Argo runs the house and controls all the animals. We have four cats and two dogs,” she said.
“She goes up to them and they run away.”
But as much as she may be feared or revered by her fellow pets, she shares a special bond with one, and they are frequently spotted snuggling up to each another.
“She looks up at one of the dogs (that has similar colourings as her) like it’s her mum and they cuddle up together,” Kalinda said.
The new-born bouncer was a late 23rd birthday gift for Kalinda from her best friend in Cranbourne who breeds the bunnies.
“She’s amazing. She’s very affectionate and likes cuddles,” she said.
“It’s really funny when she runs around the yard; she throws her whole body in the air.”
The cheeky rabbit loves munching on various things all day long, including several expensive electronic items.
“She’s eaten her way through three phone charger cords. We have to get cheap ones on eBay now. She’s also tried to eat potato chips before,” Kalinda said.
Kalinda said Argo was like a baby to her.
“When I am not home, I am constantly checking in to see what she’s doing or asking for photo updates from mum,” she said.
