Weapons and drugs on board

A WOMAN in her twenties was charged with trafficking drugs and possessing dangerous weapons last week.
Police, who found approximately 24 grams of white powder believed to methamphetamines on the 29-year-old Bayswater North woman, have charged her with possessing and trafficking illicit drugs and possessing prohibited weapons including a flick knife and knuckle dusters.
The female passenger was travelling inbound on the Princes Freeway in Pakenham when police began following the car which was intercepted in Narre Warren at 2.30am on Tuesday 17 March.
She is due to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 28 May.
The male driver has been charged on summons for driving with a suspended licence.
