PAKENHAM’s Natalie de Reus said she had two shadows – her own and that of her pooch Elliot who would follow her wherever she went.
“Elliot is the most loving and happy dog I have ever had. His tail is always wagging … he’s a little bit cheeky but that’s just a part of his charm,” Natalie said.
“No matter where you go, whether it’s the lounge room or to the bathroom, he is your little shadow without fail.”
The two-year-old jet black cocker spaniel is always up to something mischievous, according to Natalie.
“Whenever our folded washing is on the bed to be put away, the only part of the bed he will sit on is our clean clothes.”
Elliot’s favourite past time is walking and playing with other dogs.
“He adores going to Brighton Dog Beach and playing with all the big dogs as he thinks he’s one of them,” Natalie said.
“I could never imagine life without Elliot.”
Elliot may soon have his own buddy to play with in his Pakenham home.
“We don’t have any other pets at the moment but are planning on adopting very soon,” Natalie said.
