GOLD the Ultimate ABBA Show is returning with a new concert production celebrating the 40th anniversary of ABBA the album.
The live concert extravaganza will showcase all ABBA’s hits and beloved anthems from Mamma Mia to SOS. The 2014 GOLD tour has played sold-out shows to more than 10,000 people around Australia and this year Happy Days Records are thrilled to present them once more.
It’s been four decades since the release of ABBA’s third and self-titled album with the subsequent Mamma Mia single released in September 1975. Mamma Mia rocketed to the top of the Australian singles charts and remained there for ten weeks.
ABBA’s eleven-times-over platinum album will be brought to life by internationally recognised ABBA performers ‘GOLD the Ultimate ABBA Show’ in Warragul on Friday May 1 at the West Gippsland Arts Centre.
Agnetha (Kathleen Maloney) and Anna-Frid (Kirsten Elliott) will have audiences unleashing their inner Dancing Queen to this truly ABBA experience.
Flares and platforms will be essentials for the two-hour concert production as the 40th Anniversary ABBA Tour takes it back to where this all began.
