FLYING Eagle Tahlia Agnew showed the Magpies just how far someone can soar.
While the South East Juniors under-12 Youth Girls’ competition has only just commenced its inaugural home-and-away season, the Cranbourne utility has already torn apart the competition.
She showed her prowess with at least six-goals on Sunday morning against Narre Warren… or maybe more, even she lost count!
Timbarra Reserve was a happy hunting ground for the up-and-coming Youth Girls talent as she roamed the forward line for most of the match, grasping anything that went her way before kicking goal-after-goal in an impressive haul.
Even when she was pushed defensively by the coach – who moonlights as her father – Tahlia still ripped apart the opposition as she busted packs, and streamed forward to boot another major for her burgeoning bag.
Add to that a number of hit-outs and a seemingly effortless ability to pick the ball up and charge away from her opponents and Tahlia is a tough challenge for any opponent.
It means all Youth Girls sides in the division will need to find a way to account for Tahlia’s talents, otherwise the hauls will only get bigger from here.
