BENDIGO Bank’s Pakenham branch and a group of local business people have extended a helping hand to those in need.
Bank staff recently completed a canned soup drive on behalf of 4Cs to distribute to the needy, along with the proceeds from a recent corporate golf day at Garfield.
At the same time, $160 was handed to 4Cs client services manager Rebecca Burr, the proceeds of a recent Engaging Local Business speaking event at the Cardinia Cultural Centre.
The CEOs of four regional companies shared their secrets to success at the event, run by local business people Norm Davidson, Simon Maselli, Peter Smith and Ian Bell, with the support of the Casey Cardinia Business Group.
Shire of Cardinia economic development co-ordinator Andrew Pomeroy compered the event.
They plan to run a similar event later in the year.
