Cattle go missing

Anyone with information about the disappearance is urged to come forward.

BUNYIP police are investigating the disappearance of cattle from a Nar Nar Goon farm over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend.
Five Friesian heifers, a Jersey cow and a Limousine steer are believed to have been taken from the Eight Mile Road property between 9pm on Thursday 4 June and 8am on Tuesday 9 June, according to owners Jo Ladgrove and Greg Rotheram who reported the cattle as missing to police.
The cattle, which are tagged, were last left at a front paddock at the Nar Nar Goon property.
Witnesses have told police a truck was seen in the area on Monday 8 June.
“We are really hoping they can be found as they were our pets and we are really missing them,” Jo said.
Four of the Friesian heifers are black and white and the fifth is white with black spots.
The Jersey cow is described as light brown and white and the Limousin steer is gold-coloured.
Anyone with information about the cattle is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Jo directly on 0407 363 645.
