PUFFED out politicians took to a Holm Park Recreation Reserve in Beaconsfield for a morning workout earlier this week, before a day of business as usual.
Members of state Shadow Cabinet warmed up with a round of burpees and star jumps before a high-paced workout circuit on Monday 15 June.
The session, put on by TLC Health and Fitness, dragged the likes of Opposition Leader Matthew Guy, Gembrook MP Brad Battin and Eastern Victoria Region Member Edward O’Donohue out of bed on the cold Monday morning.
But they didn’t stay cold for long.
The intense fitness course, which included a team jog around Holm Park Reserve, raised temperatures – most politicians breaking a sweat.
The energetic session, joined by members of the community, was the start of a busy day for the Opposition Leader who went on to host a community breakfast and Shadow Cabinet meeting later that morning at the Beaconsfield grounds.
