PREMIERSHIP reunions are going to come thick and fast for the Cranbourne Football Club over the next few years with its dominance of the 1980’s set to be celebrated in style.
Under coach Darryl Nisbet the Eagles won three premierships on the trot. The first of those, in 1985, was remembered by a large gathering of past players and officials at Casey Fields on Saturday.
Nisbet spoke about the characters at the club during his time, while current-day coach Simon Goosey spoke in glowing terms of a dominant era at the club.
High-flying forward Craig Burton and captain John Fox flew down from Queensland for the occasion.
