AS the trophy room of the Hawks has grown over the past three AFL seasons, so too has this Pakenham family.
Since he was just six weeks old, Jay Jarred has been featured in the Gazette with his proud dad Ben, both wearing their Hawthorn gear on grand final day.
One year later, he and his dad were all smiles for Hawthorn’s second AFL victory in 2014.
This year, however, Jay shared the team’s third consecutive win with his little sister, Jasmine.
And as the family tradition goes, all three were dressed in their brown and gold gear during the game which resulted in a 46-point win by Hawthorn.
It appears the Jarred family has as much to celebrate as the team itself.
